Various Packages
We offer 2 day (one night) up to 4 day (three night) safaris. Our destination is the vast 200 000 ha Baviaanskloof Wilderness area which is an approximate 2 - 2½ drive from Port Elizabeth. Our tours can be customised to suit your requirements, or you can make use of our standard packages, which are as follows.
Two Day / One Night Safari Day One Leisurely drive to the Baviaans wilderness area. Picnic lunch in the Goedehoop Valley reaching our final overnight destination - the Baviaanskloof Lodge late in the afternoon. Here we will overnight in comfortable accommodation. Day Two Early morning drive into the breathtaking beauty of the Baviaanskloof where our drive takes us up mountain passes, across rivers, and plunging down river valleys. Our day will be spent picnicking, swimming and enjoying the quiet serenity of the kloof. We will commence our 4 hour drive back to Port Elizabeth shortly after lunch.
Three Day / Two Night and Four Day / Three Night Safaris We will sleep in 2 man tents in the Kloof and cook our food on an open fire. Our time will be spent going for short sight-seeing walks, swimming in the river, going on short game viewing drives, and merely sitting in the shade watching the baboons and monkeys frolic in the trees. It is here that you will enjoy the peace and spiritual renewal as well as the excitement and adventure that only comes with the true Wilderness experience.
